DESCRIPTION:It’s the holidays and the time to give! Help shelter animals believe in love and hope again by helping us make supplies for them. We also encourage you to dress up for this event in holiday clothing (such as Santa’s elves\, Santa\, etc…). We want to make it as fun as possible! \nAt this DIY session\, we will be making:\n– No-sew fleece blankets\n– Cat kennel curtains (for people with sewing machine experience)\n– Crocheted cat toys\n– Crocheted nests\nfor the Irvine Animal Care Center. \n For people who crochet or sew\, please donate supplies any extra supplies (cloth\, yarn\, etc.) and if you want to sew cat kennel curtains\, please bring your own sewing machine. CPAF was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in Asian and Pacific Islander communities and has emergency and transitional shelters to help serve survivors. Many of these survivors has kids that never had the opportunity to experience traditional Easter activities\, such as the egg hunt.\n\nWe will be helping them create memories by making Easter baskets and filling them with goodies!! These baskets will be used for an Easter egg hunt activity at the shelters! Help us create everlasting memories for the children at these shelters by making Easter baskets! Volunteers aged 16 to 17 do not need a chaperone. Volunteers aged 13-17 years old\, please have your parent or legal guardian register online and email us at Volunteer@feedoc.org. Please print and bring your signed waiver the day of your shift. This is a requirement for all minor volunteers.\n\n  \nThe following volunteer ratio is required:Ages 13-15: 1 chaperone per 10 children.Ages 16-17: No chaperone required.\n\n  \nDirections & Parking:Our Distribution Center is located at 8014 Marine Way. Please park in the area signed for visitor parking. From the parking lot\, head toward the building with the mural. Enter through the door marked Volunteer Entrance\, located near the flagpole. As you drive along Marine Way\, please be cautious and patient of construction going on throughout the area. It is important to observe all safety signs.\n\n  \nCommunity Service Hours Verification:We are only able to verify volunteer hours on the day of service. If you require hour verification for school or community service\, please bring your form with you so our volunteer team can sign off on your hours the day of your shift. DESCRIPTION:Come with us as TAP-OC co-hosts a Halloween Beach Clean Up with Surfrider North OC and our community partner Rotary Club of Westminster\, along with Rotary Club of Santa Ana\, Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary\, Newport-Irvine Rotary and NEOC Leadership Rotary in a multi-community organizational effort! \nBring your family and friends and make new acquaintances to raise awareness about litter and plastic pollution while serving our Orange County Community! \nIf you have high school relatives that need hours\, hours will be provided by SurfRider North OC! \n Date: Sun\, Oct 26\, 2025\n Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM\nLocation: 15 1st St\, Seal Beach CA\nThis is SurfRider’s 5th annual costume cleanup. Feel free to come out dressed up. \nBefore coming out:\n– Bring reusable water bottle\, reusable gloves (gardening or mechanic)\, and sun protection.\n– Avoid bringing plastic bottles\, bags of chips\, and other single use plastic products.\n– We recommend wearing a hat\, sunglasses\, shorts\, and flip flops.\n– Dress for the beach. \nArriving:\n– Parking is NOT free — $2/hr\, capped at $10/day — carpooling is recommended.\n– Check in at the Surfrider popup tent.\n– Bags will be provided.
