DESCRIPTION:It is with great pleasure to invite members to attend our 2021 Scholarship Awards Ceremony of the Taiwanese American Citizens League – Orange County (TACL-OC).\nThe TACL-OC Scholarship Program is dedicated to supporting youth in Irvine who desire to pursue higher education and give back to the community. To inspire and encourage the next generation of leaders in our community\, scholarships for Irvine Unified School District high school seniors will be awarded at the Scholarship Awards Ceremony in recognition of their academic achievements\, leadership\, and community service.\nThe ceremony will be held:\n Sunday\, August 8\, 2021\, 2:00-3:30 PM\n Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Orange County (TECO-OC)\n2901 W. MacArthur Blvd.\, #115\nSanta Ana\, CA 92704\n(714) 754-9999\nDuring the ceremony\, Dr. Steven Choi (California State Assembly Member and former Mayor of the City of Irvine)\, Deborah Chuang Servino (Orange County Superior Court Judge)\, and Peggy Huang (Mayor of the City of Yorba Linda) will deliver speeches with words of encouragement to the award recipients.\nLimited spots available for the public to attend.
