Want to meet TAP locals from other Southern California (SoCal) cities? How about detoxing from technology for a weekend? Outdoor recreation and outdoor cooking? With four campgrounds\, two swim beaches\, several picnic areas\, and a marina where visitors can either rent a boat or launch their own\, Silverwood Lake offers multiple recreational opportunities and features members from 3 TAP chapters in this inaugural event; a first ever joint SoCal TAP chapter camping trip! \nGet to know TAP members from SD\, LA\, & OC in a camping adventure complete with cooked meals\, flushing toilets\, hot showers\, outdoor recreation\, and warm s’mores over a campfire.  Cooked meals are provided the whole day for Saturday and Sunday. Participants should bring their own food for the Friday arrival night. \nRegister here as an early bird for $65 by April 15\, or a late bird for $75 by May 30. Due to the large group size\, our primary parking area will be at Turtle Rock Community Park. From there\, we will walk to the Bommer trailhead. Alternative parking for overflow will be at the main Bommer Canyon Trailhead. Claim your spots early and consider carpooling if you’d like.\nMeeting Spot: Turtle Rock Community Park’s parking lot for early and punctual birds. Late and overflow birds can wait and meet us at the Bommer Canyon Trailhead if parking is available there by the time we pass through.\nThings To Bring: Water\, sunscreen\, light energy snacks\, hat\, sunglasses\, hiking clothes\, etc. \nWhether it’s your first time with us or if you’re returning\, we look forward to seeing you!

Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a first-timer\, this event is designed for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors and create unforgettable memories.\n\nWilliam Heise County Park is located in a forest of pines and oaks in the Laguna Mountain Range\, just 10 minutes from Julian. It offers miles of scenic hiking trails\, several playgrounds\, and rangers-led activities.\n\nGet to know TAP members from OC\, LA\, & SD in a camping adventure complete with cooked meals\, games and outdoor recreation\, and warm s’mores over a campfire at a campground with flush toilets and hot coin-op showers. Cooked meals are provided the whole day for Saturday and Sunday. Participants should bring their own food for the Friday arrival night.\n\nRegister as an early bird for $65 by April 15!
