SUMMARY:07/28 Tabata Tuesday & Foam Roller 101
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve been missing our weekly Tuesday workouts\, you’re in luck\, because we’re back with a special one time engagement! Please join us for a virtual 30-min Tabata session followed by a 15-min foam rolling demo led by David Valle\, DC! \nDr. David is a chiropractor at True Health & Wellness in Tustin\, CA. He studied Kinesiology and has more than 10 years of personal training experience! \nNot sure what Tabata is? This type of training is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that alternates between 20-second intervals performed at maximum effort and 10-second stages of rest. The sets are repeated eight times for efficient\, quick four-minute workouts. It’s hard work\, but it’ll be over before you know it! \nWhat’s so great about foam rolling? This self-myofascial release (SMR) technique can help relieve muscle tightness\, soreness\, and inflammation\, and increase your joint range of motion! Many people find it to be an effective tool to add to your warm-up or cool-down\, before and after exercise. \nDon’t have a foam roller? No problem! A tennis ball or rolling pin can work in a pinch! Be sure to have a towel and water on hand as well\, and get ready to burn some major calories! ????
