DESCRIPTION:We have all been devastated by recent news of the violent attacks on Asian Americans in our communities. TAP-OC wants to help! Come join us as we learn different tips and techniques to keep ourselves safe at our Self Defense Workshop. This event is virtual and free\, so everybody (parents and grandparents included) is invited to join!\nThis workshop will cover:\n*Basics of Self Defense\n*Demos of Krav Maga Techniques\n*Tips for Staying Aware of Your Surroundings and Protecting Oneself in Public\n*Q&A Session\n…and more!\nPlease register via the Google Form below to receive the meeting link:\nhttps://forms.gle/j5UcVopdWDym1X1s5\nAll attendees must also complete the KMOC Waiver Form online. Please write “TAP-OC 3/21 Workshop” for the “How did you hear about us?” question.\nhttps://www.digisigner.com/online/showTemplate…\nAbout the Instructor:\nYURI BOIARSKY is a Krav Maga instructor with 36 years of experience teaching and training in the United States and overseas. He has been teaching with Krav Maga of Orange County (KMOC) since 2001 and co-founded the Krav Maga Martial Arts and Training Center in Mission Viejo in 2009. Yuri holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga and received his black belt from Imi Lichtenfeld\, the founder of the Krav Maga self-defense system\, himself! Yuri has provided training to Israeli security forces protecting embassies and consulates as well as local law enforcement agencies in the U.S. In addition to Krav Maga\, he has practiced Aikido\, Boxing\, kickboxing\, and Thai boxing. He is also a certified Advanced Civilian Law Enforcement Instructor.\nWe hope you will feel empowered after this workshop and share your learnings with family and loved ones to help keep them out of harm’s way.
