CPAF was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in Asian and Pacific Islander communities and has emergency and transitional shelters to help serve survivors. Many of these survivors has kids that never had the opportunity to experience traditional Easter activities\, such as the egg hunt.\n\nWe will be helping them create memories by making Easter baskets and filling them with goodies!! These baskets will be used for an Easter egg hunt activity at the shelters! Help us create everlasting memories for the children at these shelters by making Easter baskets! We also encourage you to dress up for this event in holiday clothing (such as Santa’s elves\, Santa\, etc…). We want to make it as fun as possible! \nAt this DIY session\, we will be making:\n– No-sew fleece blankets\n– Cat kennel curtains (for people with sewing machine experience)\n– Crocheted cat toys\n– Crocheted nests\nfor the Irvine Animal Care Center. \n For people who crochet or sew\, please donate supplies any extra supplies (cloth\, yarn\, etc.) and if you want to sew cat kennel curtains\, please bring your own sewing machine. Get a jump start to your fitness and social New Year resolutions with fellow TAP members in our first ever Minute to Win In Virtual Tournament!\nBrought to you by TAP-OC’s Health & Wellness and Social Programs\, this tournament will give contestants the opportunity to compete on teams in a series of fun and active games that last for one minute each. Inspired by the popular TV show\, each Minute to Win It game is a bit ridiculous by design\, uses common household items\, and can be played by anyone regardless of skill. The team at the end with the most points takes home bragging rights and some sweet swag! \nContestants will be randomly assigned into teams of 4-5 members at the beginning of the tournament. For the majority of the games\, one person from each team will be selected to compete with the selected contestants from the other teams\, while a few games will require total team participation.
