The venue is rather strict on tardiness.\n\n  \nWhat to Expect:Repeated bending\, walking\, and moving.Tables and chairs are available to take breaks as needed.Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the shift to allow time for check-in.Leave valuable items at home\, as Second Harvest Food Bank is not responsible for lost or stolen items.Unfortunately\, due to the nature of the projects\, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals.\n\n  \nWhat to Wear:Closed-toed shoes are required for all participants.We suggest wearing easily removable layers\, as the temperature in the distribution center varies.\n\n  \nMinor Volunteers:\nThis opportunity is available to volunteers 13 years old and above\, with an adult chaperone 21+. Volunteers aged 16 to 17 do not need a chaperone. Volunteers aged 13-17 years old\, please have your parent or legal guardian register online and email us at Volunteer@feedoc.org. Please print and bring your signed waiver the day of your shift. DESCRIPTION:Easter is just around the corner and TAP OC is making Easter baskets to donate to the Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF)! CPAF was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in Asian and Pacific Islander communities and has emergency and transitional shelters to help serve survivors. Many of these survivors has kids that never had the opportunity to experience traditional Easter activities\, such as the egg hunt.\n\nWe will be helping them create memories by making Easter baskets and filling them with goodies!! These baskets will be used for an Easter egg hunt activity at the shelters! Help us create everlasting memories for the children at these shelters by making Easter baskets! Help us prep and serve a well-balanced meal to the less fortunate in our community and make an important impact.\n\nNo one should go to bed hungry and that includes the less fortunate in our community!\n\nSomeone Cares Soup Kitchen serves over 300 guests per day and has made an amazing impact in our Orange County community. Unfortunately millions of our neighbors are still facing hunger\, let alone thinking about which restaurants to check out once everything reopens. Food banks across the country have been doing their best to make sure our neighbors impacted by the crisis have the food they need. Come join this Pack-A-Box program on 5th June to help our community  OC Food bank is dedicated to send all the food box to over 70 sites that will be serving 25\,500 low-income seniors every month. Let’s roll up our sleeves and be part of that \n● Date: 5th June\, Saturday\, 2021\n● Time: 11am – 1pm\n● Location: 11870 Monarch Street Garden Grove\, CA 92841\n● Parking: Address will take you to the back of warehouse and parking is plenty.\n● Safety guideline: Glove\, mask\, and hand sanitizer are available.\n● Note: You will be working in a high energy and fast-paced environment in this warehouse for two hours.
