We are an organization that focuses on fostering the Taiwanese American community within Orange County.
We welcome people of all cultures and backgrounds to join us and to learn about Taiwanese culture, traditions, history, and cuisine!
The mission of TAP-OC is to enhance the Taiwanese-American community by networking individuals interested in professional and career development while emphasizing the preservation of Taiwanese American identity. TAP-OC provides resources and programs that inspire and empower; develop and support professionals to become community-oriented leaders through programs that focus on themes of Leadership, Identity, Networking and Citizenship.
The vision of TAP-OC is to cultivate a community that not only connects like-minded individuals who are looking to contribute to something bigger than ourselves by giving back to society, but also build lifelong friendships that will grow beyond the organization while pursuing professional and personal growth.
Founded in January 2018, TAP-OC became one of ten official TAP chapters across the nation under TACL. We invite you to join us on our journey to promote the Taiwanese American heritage and identity, enable career and professional development, and provide a platform for members to connect with the largest network of young Taiwanese American professionals in the United States.
